# Referrals

> Invite friends and earn 10% of their points

## How Referrals Work

Invite friends to trade on Lighter and earn **10% of all points they earn** through trading.

  Your referrals still get 100% of their points — you get an additional 10% bonus!

## Getting Your Referral Link

Use the `/referral` or `/invite` command to get your unique referral link:

## Example

Your friend trades and earns **1,000 points** this week:

* Over 12 weeks: **12,000 bonus points**

## Viewing Your Referral Stats

Use `/referral` to see:

* 👥 Number of users you've invited
* 💰 Total points earned from referrals
