## Trading Fees

The Lighter Trading Bot charges a small fee on each trade to maintain and improve the service.

### Bot Fee

**Perpetual Trading:**

* **0.03%** per trade
* Applied on perpetual positions (/long, /short, /limit)
* Transparent calculation
* Automatically deducted

**Spot Trading:**

* **0.1%** per trade
* Applied on spot trades (/buy, /sell)
* Transparent calculation
* Automatically deducted

### Lighter Exchange Fees

* Standard Lighter.xyz trading fees apply
* Maker/taker fee structure
* Volume-based discounts available

## Deposit Fees

### First Deposit

* **\$3 fee** for gas costs
* One-time only
* Covers blockchain transaction fees
* Automatic deposit to Lighter

### Subsequent Deposits

* **Free** automatic deposits
* No additional fees after first deposit
* Instant processing

## Withdrawal Fees

Withdrawal fees are based on current Ethereum gas prices:

* Variable based on network congestion
* Displayed before confirmation
* You can cancel if fee is too high

## Minimum Amounts

**Perpetual Trading:** Opening a \$1,000 position with 10x leverage:
